About

My name is Tom Verhoeff, a Computer Science student at the Delft University of Technology. Next to studying i am also involved in some other activities at the university like the Faculty Student Council and some committees at my study society ‘Christiaan Huygens’.
I am also participating in the Microsoft Student Partner program. As an MSP I work with Microsoft to get students involved with new technologies. We do this by organizing events like guest lectures. Visit our Facebook page to stay up to date on our activities. After attending MIX10 I also started to work on Windows Phone 7. I regularly present about WP7 development for various audiences and also try to help out the community by producing a blog once in a while. My most well-known contribution is the WP7 Review Reader which helps developers around the world gain insight in their apps reviews. Recently I added functionality to contact reviewers to allow developers to get in touch with their users.
Together with two friends i founded Eveoh, a company specialized in developing software for the educational sector with a strong focus on student needs. Our company originates from a project we did for the Delft University of Technology. We developed a new blackboard-integrated interface for students to retrieve their timetables. After a succesfull project we released it under GPLv3 license and founded Eveoh to support and implement MyTimetable on other institutions. Currently our software is being used at the Delft University of Technology and the Radboud University in Nijmegen. Versions for other institutions are in development.
